Teams from The Dancerâ€™s Edge Dance Studio won honors at Star Systems Regional Talent Competition April 2-5. Groups received Golf First Place and High Gold achievements.
â€œRed Footballâ€ (senior competition team) received fifth overall senior division, and â€œDragulaâ€ (senior competition team) received fourth overall senior division.
Tyler Lawrence received fifth overall teen solo with â€œIâ€™m Good.â€ Ashley Gilroy received a platinum and top senior soloist with â€œHip Hop Mix.â€
In the White Lightening Talent Competition held April 17 and 18 in Lincolnton, all competition groups received a first perfect rating.
â€œHollyrockâ€ (mini competition team) earned the Distinction in Dance award.
â€œStuff Like That Thereâ€ (junior competition team, received third overall in the junior division.
â€œRed Footballâ€ received first overall in the senior division.
The â€œLightening Boltâ€ award for best choreography of the day went to Kim Noles-Sullivan.
