GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY
During the month of April, the Broad River Genealogical Society will be making change in their schedule for membership meetings. Due to the Easter holiday, BRGS has moved their monthly meeting to the third Sunday, April 18 at 3 p.m. Robin Lattimore will be guest speaker. The meeting will be held at the Neal Senior Center on HT Harris Drive in Shelby.

HAMBURGER/HOT DOG SALE
West Lincoln High School cheerleaders will have a hamburger/hot dog sale from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at Winn-Dixie, Hwy. 27 west.
DEMOCRATS TO CONVENE AT COURTHOUSE
Dr. John Gamble will be the speaker for the Lincoln County Democratic Convention at 2 p.m. Saturday at the courthouse. The county convention follows the Democratic Party caucus which opens at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Charles R. Jonas Library. Voters in line prior to 8 a.m. will be provided a ballot at that time and not before. The caucus will end promptly at noon. Individuals in line at noon shall be permitted to participate in the caucus. Individuals arriving at the caucus at 12:01 or later shall not be permitted to participate in the caucus. County Chair Roby Jetton will preside at the convention and serve as chief caucus coordinator.
LINCOLN THEATRE GUILD PRODUCTION
