INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC
Boger City Baptist Church, 2201 E. Main St., adult choir will present Once Upon A Cross, Inspirational Music for the Easter Season at 7 p.m. Friday and 10:50 a.m. Sunday.

WEATHER SPOTTERS CLASS
The Lincoln County Volunteer Communications Amateur Radio Group will sponsor a Basic Weather Spotters Class beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday on the 2nd floor of the Lincoln County Courthouse. GOSPEL SINGING
The Contemporary Gospel Group 3:16 will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Cup Of Grace Coffeehouse, 115 W. Court Square. For more information call 704-732-8000.

EASTER SCHEDULE
St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, King Wilkinson Road, Easter schedule. Good Friday Tenebrae Service at 7:30 p.m.; Sunrise Service 6:57 a.m.; Breakfast, Sunday School 9 a.m.; Worship Service 10 a.m.

EASTER BUNNY
The Easter bunny will be walking around downtown Lincolnton greeting children and posing for pictures at 10 a.m. Saturday. A bunny hop contest will be at 12:30 p.m.

EASTER STORY READING
Byrd’s Sundries and the Lincoln County Literacy Council Success by 6 Program will host a children’s Easter story reading from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday. Children will be making Easter crafts and listening to Easter stories. Children are invited to bring a new or gently used book to donate to the Success by 6 Program and receive a single scoop ice cream and a balloon for $1.

BAKE SALE
Lawings Chapel Baptist Church will have a bake sale Saturday at Galaxy Food Mart in Maiden. Easter baskets will also be available. All proceeds will go to the Building Fund of the church. Lunch will be served in the new Fellowship Center at Lawings Chapel on Easter Sunday.

KIWANIS CLUB MEETING
Kiwanis Club of Lincolnton meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at noon at the Lincoln Country Club, 2052 Country Club Rd. in Lincolnton. Visitors and new members are always welcome. For club information, contact Al Johnson at 704-748-9586.

INSIDE YARD SALE
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 30 will have an inside yard sale from 7 until 11 a.m. Saturday. Proceeds will benefit the veterans.

BROOM SALEThe Lions Club will have a broom sale Friday beginning at 2 p.m. at Wal-Mart and downtown and Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. at both locations. Brooms are $7 for industrial, $6 for household, and $3 for hearth brooms. They will also be selling Camp Dogwood raffle tickets for four 2004 vehicles.
