Letha Mae Hoover
Letha Mae Martin Hoover, 78, died Nov. 25, 2004. A celebration of life will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel.
A native of Lincoln County, she was retired as a secretary from Jarman Yarns and was a member of Fellowship Christian Church.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

George Astley
George Astley, 67, of 2093 Bost Street, died Nov. 25, 2004. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Warlick Funeral Home.
A native of Buncombe County, he was retired from Thornburg Machine Shop as a machinist.
Survivors include wife Doris Melton Astley; one son, Terry Astley; one step-son, John Davis of Jackson, Miss.; two step-daughters, Susan Lackey and Nora Paysour, both of Lincolnton; one brother, Alfred Astley of Swannanoa and four grandchildren, Lindsay Ford, Wesley Ford, Caitlin Self and Emily Self.

Cathy Dellinger
Cathy Peeler Dellinger, of 1723 John Beam Road, died Nov. 26, 2004. Arrangements are incomplete at Warlick Funeral Home.

Patrick Byrd
Patrick Joseph Byrd, 15, of 2690 Buffalo Forest Road, died Nov. 25, 2004. Arrangements are incomplete at Warlick Funeral Home.

Dorothy Cox
Dorothy Lee Cox, 84, died Nov. 24, 2004. A graveside service will be held Saturday at Macon Memorial Park in Macon, Ga.
A native of Macon, she was a retired school teacher in the Macon school system.
Survivors include two daughters, Becky Grier of Lincolnton and Dorothy “Kitty” Peters of Muphy; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Matthew Keziah
Steven Matthew Keziah, 27, of Reepsville Road, died Nov. 23, 2004. Funeral services were held today at Concord United Methodist Church in Catawba. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He was a native of Catawba County.
Survivors include wife Crystal Skeens Keziah, one step-son, Austin Taylor Skeens; parents Steve Keziah and Sherry Keziah of Taylorsville and grandparents, Harvey Wilson and Peggy Wilson of Catawba.

Overa Kelly
Overa Bollinger Kelly, 80, of 1370 Pete’s Road, died Nov. 23, 2004. Funeral services are 2 p.m. today ion the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
A native of Cleveland County, she worked in textiles.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Ligon of Shleby; two sons, Howard Black and Jerry Black, both of Lincolnton; one brother, Billy Bollinger of Lincolnton; two sisters, Ruby Thomas of Lincolnton and Audrey Allen of Maiden; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Patricia Reep
Patricia Gail Hansell Reep, 50, of 1554 Angela Court, died Nov. 24, 2004. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Boger City United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Warlick Funeral Home.
A native of Gaston County, she worked as a banking center manager for Bank of America.
Survivors include husband Charles Reep; one son, Charlie Reep of Lincolnton; mother Margie Hansell of Gastonia; and one sister, Diane Stewart of Gastonia.

Annie Smith
Annie Ruth Peeler Smith, 75, of 233 Rockhill Lane, died Nov. 25, 2004. Funeral services are 3 p.m. Saturday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Woodside Episcopal Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
A native of Lincoln County, she was part owner of R & F Frame Inc.
Survivors include husband Fred E. Smith Sr.; one son, Fred E. Smith Jr. of Lincolnton; three daughters, Linda Byers, Sue Crouse and Nancy McNeely, all of Lincolnton; one sister, Ethelene Bumgarner of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Canipe
VALE – Dorothy Eva Parker Canipe, 75, of 302 Hulls Grove Church Road, died Nov. 23, 2004. Funeral services are 3 p.m. today at Hebron United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A native of Lincoln County, she was retired as co-owner and operator of Kountry Kubbard Grill.
Survivors include husband Sam Canipe; one son, Aubrey “Aubie” Canipe; four daughters, Maisie Wallace, Winona Houser, Gail Stiles and Donna Norman; one sister, Charlene Leatherman; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; all of Vale.

Lousie Parker
CHERRYVILLE – Louise Fowler Parker, 82, of 849 Baxter Road, died Nov. 23, 2004. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday in Stamey – Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends after the service.
A native of Gaston County, she was retired as a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandy Craft of Cherryville; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
