Robert Ogle
Robert Glenn Ogle, 86, of Salem Church Road, died Nov. 1, 2004. Funeral services are 3 p.m. today at Living Word Pentecostal Church in Maiden. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.
A native of Sevierville, Tenn., he was a veteran of the U.S. Army in WWII.
Survivors include one son, Steve Ogle of Lincolnton; three daughters, Pat Dellinger of Lincolnton, Bobbie Williams of Maiden and June Lawing of Lincolnton; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Larry Pryor
SHELBY – Larry Lee Pryor, 58, of 3150 Old School Road, died Oct. 29, 2004. Funeral services are 2 p.m. today at Faith Harvest Church. Burial will follow at Ramseur Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one half hour prior to the service at the church.

Bertie Wright
CHERRYILLE – Bertie Lee Wright, 85, of 1762 Bess Chapel Church Road, died Oct. 31, 2004. Funeral services are 11 a.m. today at Bess Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Lincoln County, she was retired as a housekeeper at Lincoln Hospital.
Survivors include one son, Hal Wright of Cherryville; one daughter, Linda Bailey of Cherryville; two sisters, Connie Gantt of Cherryville and Nell Wright of Lincolnton; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren.

Arne Pedersen
CLAREMONT – Arne Wang Pedersen, 90, of Peach Tree Street, died Oct. 31, 2004. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Newton.
A native of Oslo, Norway, he was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Claremont, the Masonic Lodge in Ohio and a lifetime member of the Sons of Norway. He was a vateran of the Army of Norway.
Survivors include wife Erna Ramsoe Pedersen; one son, John Reynolds of Hollywood, Fla.; one daughter, Kay Reverri of Claremont; one sister, Sonja Kooij of Norway and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ralph Hudson
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – Ralph Herbert Hudson, 75, died Oct. 31, 2004. Funeral services are 2 p.m. today at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
A native of Lincolnton, he was retired from the Air Force and Charleston County law enforcement and was a member of Hammerton Masonic Lodge, Omar Shrine Club, Scottish Rite na dthe International order of police and the S.C. State Guard.
Survivors include wife Hulya Hudson; two daughters, Pemra Hudson of North Charleston and Aileen Lord of Goose Creek; two grandchildren, Alexandra Lord and Jordan Lord, both of Charleston and one brother, Bob Hudson of North Carolina.

Nicholas Reele II
Nicholas Eugene Reele II, 50, of 301 S. Aspen Street, died Nov. 1, 2004. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Gastonia and 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, where he was a member.
A native of Catawba County, he worked as a stocker in retail and was a member of NAMI and CEFAC.
Survivors include mother Marie Pruitt Reele of Gastonia and one sister, Melanie Holcombe of Newton.

A native of Catawba County, he was a member of Riverside Lodge in Catawba and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.
Survivors include wife Peggy Sherrill Wilson; three sons, Billy Fred Wilson Jr. of Claremont, Lewis Wilson, and Mike Wilson of Catawba; two daughters, Donna Devlin of Claremont and Judy Parker of Sherrills Ford; two brothers, Harvey Wilson of Catawba and Don Wilson of Catawba; five sisters, Kathryn Setzer of Catawba, Joy Tate of Lincolnton, Gay Goodson of Maiden, Tanis Lanier of Lincolnton and Barbara Huffman of Catawba; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A native of Lincoln County, he worked as a fixer.

Hoyle of Shelby; two brothers, Stanley Abernathy of Shelby and James Abernathy of Newton; two sisters, Margie Allman of Cherryville and Clara Belle Carston of Kankekee, Ill.; 11 great-grandchildren and three grandchildren.

Rev. Ralph K. Harris
Rev. Ralph K. Harris, 82, of Lincolnton, NC passed into the presence of his heavenly Father on October 31. 2004.
He was a retired Baptist pastor and had served churches in North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia during a ministry lasting 37 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Carrie Harris and 10 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his devoted wife of almost 53 years, Mrs. Daphine Harris, of the home; son, Doug Harris and wife, Gloria Harris, of Fincastle, VA; son, Michael Harris and wife, Jackie Harris, of Elizabethton, TN; daughter, Kimberly Hall and husband, Tim Hall, of Kingsport, TN; and grandchildren, Emily Harris, Juliet Harris and Conner Hall.
The family received friends at Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2004. The funeral will be conducted at Centerview Baptist Church, Maiden, at 2:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, November 3, 2004.
