Terry Gene Campbell, 53, 436 Jerry Crump Road, died Oct. 28, 2004. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.
Born in Lincoln County, he was a technical service manager in manufacturing.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Gunter Campbell; two sons, Joshua Cole Campbell of Boston, Mass. and Chad William Campbell of Raleigh; parents, Bob and Sue Campbell of Lincolnton; and a sister, Kathy C. Beal of Lincolnton.

DALLAS – Bertha Henderson Barker, 88, formerly of Miles Road, died Oct. 27, 2004, died Oct. 27, 2004. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon to 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
A native of Buncombe County, she worked in the textile industry.
Survivors include two sons, William C. Barker and W. Perry Barker, both of Lincolnton; one daughter, Barbara Downs of Cherryville; one brother, Carroll Henderson of Laurenburg; three sisters, Nellie Mae Henderson and Peggy Holly, both of Marion and Sally Myers of Old Fort; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

BLADENBORO – Lillie Belle Priest Hester died Oct. 27, 2004. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of God. Burial will follow in Singletary Cemetery in Butters. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bowen Funeral Home in Bladenboro.
Survivors include three sons, Danny R. Hester of Denver and Ronald G. Hester and Gary Hester Jr., both of Bladenboro; one brother, Jimmy F. Priest of Lumberton; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

LAWNDALE – Dessie Pearl Turner Mosteller, 74, of 1316 Belwood-Lawndale Road, died Oct. 28, 2004. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Carpenter’s Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Stamey Funeral Home.
A native of Cleveland County, she was retired as a co-owner and operator of Belwood Produce and former co-owner and operator of Mosteller’s Seafood. She also worked for Hickory Springs and S&W Meat Processing Co.
Survivors include husband Robert “Bob†Burgin Mosteller; three daughters, Betty Leonhardt of Fallson, Bobbie Stovall of Iva, S.C. and Patty Chapman of Belwood; two brothers, Alston Turner of Lawndale and Robert Turner of Morganton; one sister, Ailene Whit eof Lawndale; eight grandchildren, Eddie Leonhardt, Jessica Leonhardt, Rhonda Estep, Robbie Young, Suzanne Merck, Michael Chapman, Doug Chapman and Regina Floyd and 12 great-grandchildren.

MAIDEN – Grace Wise Killian, 73, of 3731 Providence Mill Road, died Oct. 27, 2004. Funeral services are 2 p.m. today at Mays Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Catawba County, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include husband Andrew “Andy†Killian; one son, Phillip Andrew Killian of Maiden; one daughter, Teresa K. Kearns of Raleigh and one grandchild, Allison Faith Killian.

Billie Hancock
Mrs.Billie Hancock, 59, of Denver, NC passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning, October 22, 2004 at Presbyterian Hospital.
A loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her husband of forty-two years Lynn Hancock of Denver, NC; her mother Mrs. Willie Mae Badgett of Dallas, TX; her sons, Scott Hancock of Charlotte, NC, and Doug Hancock and his wife Allyson of Lincolnton, NC. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Noelle, Victoria, and Madison Hancock of Charlotte, NC and Wade Hancock of Lincolnton, NC.
Doug and Allyson received friends and family at their home, 232 Hollow Road, Lincoln ton, NC, on Monday, October 25, 2004.

Tony Vernon Moore, Jr.
Mr. Tony Vernon Moore, Jr., age 19, was killed in a tragic car accident on Tuesday, October 26, 2004. He resided with Nikki Goins at the home of her parents, Roger and Brenda Goins.
His funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Reel officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. tonight at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Moore was born August 13, 1985 in Orange County. He worked in the construction industry.
