VALE — Rita Ann Hicks Goins, 51, of 1787 Cat Square Road, died April 2, 2004. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 1:45 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born in Lincoln County, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Ted Goins of the home; three sons, John Goins and Chris Goins both of Vale and Brian Goins of Lincolnton; one daughter, Amy Curtis of Vale; two brothers, Ronnie Weatherly of Denver and Eddie Weatherly of Hickory; one sister, Libby Adams of Wilkesboro and nine grandchildren.
Grace Jordan
DENVER — Anna Grace Jordan, 19, of Denver, died April 4, 2004. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius. Interment will follow the service at Machpelah Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight at the home of David and Jo Clark, 270 Inverlochy Road, Iron Station.
She was a graduate of East Lincoln High School and a freshman at North Carolina State University.
Survivors include her parents, Clarence Jordan Jr. of Matthews and Sally Jordan; two brothers, Jim and Christopher of Charlotte; a sister, Katie of Raleigh; paternal grandmother, Juanita Jordan and maternal grandparents, Jim and Helen Foreman.

Born in Gaston County, he was a retired textile employee.

Born in Lincoln County, she was a former school teacher and a member of First Reformed Church.
