The Point on Lake Norman has won the Environmental Improvement Grand Award from the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA) for outstanding landscape maintenance. HighGrove Partners will accept the award at the ALCA Green Industry Conference Nov. 2-6 in Charlotte.
ALCA is a trade association that promotes business management skills and the profitability of its members’ businesses. ALCA represents approximately 2,800 members nationwide.
“The landscaping at The Point sets the tone for the entire community,†said Art Raymond, senior vice president of Crescent Resources, LLC, the developer of The Point. “HighGrove Partners does an outstanding job with the grounds, and much of the community’s appeal is due to its impeccable presentation.â€
The Grand Award is awarded to landscape contracting professionals for superior work in residential developments. HighGrove Partners nominated The Point because of its environmentally sensitive landscape design and Crescent’s commitment to creating and preserving the natural beauty of the community.
The Point is Crescent Resources, LLC’s last country club community on Lake Norman. It is a 1,200-acre community with an 18-hole golf course designed by Greg Norman. Thirteen holes play along or over the lake. by Staff Reports
