Richard James Moon, 75, of 412 N. Flint St., died Aug. 2, 2004. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
Born in Mercer County, Pa., he was self-employed in the construction business.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Moon of Iron Station; a daughter, Carol Kuchta of Newton Falls, Ohio; a brother, Donald Moon of Newton Falls, Ohio; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
DENVER â€” Lonnie Nelson Newman, 51, of 6715 Denver Heights Circle, died Aug. 3, 2004. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born in Gaston County.
Survivors include three brothers, Gary Newman of Concord, James Newman of Denver and Steve Newman of Lowesville and three sisters, Brenda Walker of Cherryville, Glenda Alexander of Huntersville and Jeraline Miller of Stanley.
