Lincolnton man charged with trafficking LSD

A Lincolnton man has been charged with trafficking LSD.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies said Zavier Zeus Hatcher, 20, of Georgetown Road, formerly of Clyde Wehunt Road in Cherryville, was arrested on Wednesday after the conclusion of an ongoing investigation into the sale of LSD, also known as acid, in Lincoln County.

Deputies said Hatcher sold the psychedelic drug the undercover officers over several months, including a trafficking amount on at least one occasion.

Hatcher was charged with one felony count each of trafficking LSD by sale, trafficking LSD by deliver, trafficking LSD by transport, trafficking LSD by possession and maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances and two felony counts each of sell and deliver LSD and possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule I controlled substance.

Hatcher was jailed under a $250,000 secured bond.
