Three charged with selling methamphetamine

Three people have been charged with selling methamphetamine.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies said Brent Justin Day, 38, of Cansler Road in Vale, Trinity Dillion Hafner, 31, of Owls Den Road in Lincolnton and Chasta Alaine Buff, 34, of Peeler Road in Vale, each sold meth to undercover detectives.

The arrests were made on Wednesday and Thursday.

Deputies said the investigations took place primarily in western Lincoln County.

Day was charged with four felony counts each of sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance and possession with intent to sell a schedule II controlled substance and three felony counts of maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances. He was issued a $30,000 secured bond.

Hafner was charged with two felony counts each of sell and deliver methamphetamine and possession with intent to sell methamphetamine. He was issued a $30,000 secured bond.

Buff was charged with one felony count of sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance and possession with intent to sell a schedule II controlled substance and two felony probation violations. She was issued a $35,000 secured bond.
