Spaghetti dinner
West Lincoln High School band will have a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at Daniel’s Lutheran Church, 3170 Reepsville Rd. in Lincolnton. Dine in or carry out.

Springs East Church of God, at 687 Springs East Rd. in Lincolnton will host a chili or chicken and dumpling dinner from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Everyone is welcome.


Church lunch
Macedonia UMC in Vale is hosting a soup and sandwich lunch from noon-2p.m. Donation only.

Appreciation/Birthday Service
Zion Hill Baptist Church, at 3460 Zion Hill Road in Cherryville will host their 21st Appreciation/Birthday service for First Lady, Sister Cynthia Fuller at 2:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be Bishop Randy Borders of Faith Harvest Church in Shelby.

Community concert
The Davidson College Jazz Combo will perform at 3 p.m. the Episcopal Church of St. Peter by-the-Lake, at 8433 Fairfield Forest Road in Denver. Reception with refreshments to meet the musicians follows the concert. Adults $15, seniors and students $10, children under 12 free. Soup and sandwich supper
Bethlehem United Methodist Church, at 6753 Hwy. 182 in Cherryville will host their annual soup and sandwich supper from 5 p.m.-7p.m. Cost is by donation for the building fund and mission work. For more information contact Randy Baxter at 704-482-4331.

Church concert
Mt. Zion Baptist Church, at 112 Mt. Zion Church Road in Cherryville, will host Providence at 6 p.m. Call (704) 435-9636 for more information.


WLHS curriculum fair
West Lincoln High School will host its annual Curriculum Fair 6-7:30 p.m. An information session for rising 9th grade students and parents will be held in the new gym from 6-6:30 p.m. An AIG information session will be held in the Media Center for rising 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students and parents beginning at 6 p.m. Displays from all West Lincoln Academic Departments, the Lincoln County School of Technology and Gaston College will be presented. All rising 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students and parents are encouraged to attend.
