North Carolina’s Department of Transportation has closed County Club Road in Lincolnton for repairs.
According to NCDOT communications officer Jordan-Ashley B. Walker, the road was closed last week to replace a rusted pipe under the road.
“The closure is limited to right around the area where the pipe is located and should last about four weeks,” she said.
Traffic in both directions on County Club Road will be closed, approximately .1 miles from Lithia Inn Road.
In the NCDOT report, officials said the project’s expected impact to traffic is low, and the roadwork should be completed by mid-September.
