Denver Martial Artists

Denver martial artists won big at the U.S. Open ISKA World Championships, held at the Coronado Springs Resort at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Students of the Shaolin Kung Fu School in Denver traveled to to compete in the largest martial arts mega-event in the world. The U.S. Open ISKA World Championships hosts over 30 different countries and close to 4,000 competitors, open to all styles of martial arts from around the world.  Kristi Huntsberger: World Champion Black Belt Women’s Empty Hand and Weapon Forms, fourth place in Black Belt Women’s Musical Empty Hand and Weapon Forms. Brittany Carson: World Champion Advanced Women’s Weapon Forms, second place in Advanced Women’s Point Fighting and third place in Advanced Women’s Empty Hand Forms. Donnie Sigmon: second place in Black Belt Men’s Weapon Forms, fifth place in Black Belt Men’s Empty Hand Forms. Cassidy Williams: third place in Beginner Girls 8-9 year old Point Fighting, fifth place in Beginner Girls 8-9 year old Empty Hand Forms.  The Students of the Shaolin Kung Fu School on Highway 16 in Denver practice traditional Northern Shaolin Long Fist Style Kung Fu, and Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan. The Shaolin Kung Fu School’s students’ success on a state, regional, national, and world level grows continually.
