New Grace Baptist Church at 3462 Hwy 73 in Iron Station will have their final day of vacation bible school beginning at 6:30 p.m. Theme is God’s Greatest Gift of Giving. Poetry Lincolnton will have poetry night with featured poets and open mic at the Lincoln Cultural Center, beginning at 7 p.m.

Candlelight dinner dance
The Gaston County Senior Center will be hosting a Senior candlelight dinner dance for adult 55 and older. Doors open at 6 p.m. with dancing from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. in the Gaston County Senior Center at 1303 Dallas-Cherryville Highway in Dallas. Cost is $8 per person. Squire Parsons will be in concert at Salem Baptist Church. Performance begins at 6 p.m. All are welcome and offerings will be accepted.

Board Meeting
Lincoln Charter School will hold their monthly school board meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Denver campus.

Free Scholarship Class
College will be hosting a Basic Skills Student Success class to prepare students for a free scholarship to pay for the GED test. Class is from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in room 118 on the first floor and will run until July 24. Bring valid driver’s license, ID or social security card.
