Patsy Ferris Justice, 73, of Lincolnton passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 at her residence.
Born October 15, 1940 in Mingo Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late John Ferris and the late Dixie Rains Ferris.
In addition to her parents, four brothers, John Ferris Jr., Glen Ferris, Rick Ferris, Joe Ferris; two sisters, Sylvia Davis and Patty Ferris preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory: husband of 56 years, Wade Justice Jr. of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Shelia Justice of Lincolnton; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Fred Gambill of Lincolnton; two brothers, Sam and Jeffery Ferris both of Lenore, WV; three sisters, Barbara Marcum of Lovely, KY., Mary Staten of Chattaroy, WV., and Joan Jones of Lenore, WV.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Maiden with Pastor Joey Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, from 2 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Maiden.

Shirley Lineberger McLean
Mrs. Shirley Lineberger McLean, age 79, of the Cardinal Healthcare and Rehabilitation and formerly of Victor Street in Lincolnton passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014.
Her services will be private.
Mrs. McLean was born on December 9, 1934 in Lincoln County to the late Leonard Reid and Knoxie Schronce Lineberger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. McLean III. Mrs. McLean was the retired director of the Lincoln County Office on Aging.
Survivors include one son, John “Chuck” McLean IV; three grandchildren, Julian McLean, Jaden McLean and Cameron McLean; two sisters, Winnon Cashion and Sybil Eurey of Lincolnton.

Linda Louise Sims Nolen
IRON STATION — Linda Louise Sims Nolen, age 70, of 6046 Nolen Acres Lane in Iron Station, died on Friday, July 11, 2014.
Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at New Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Taylor officiating. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. this evening at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nolen was born January 30, 1944, in Gaston County to the late Clarence and Mildred Case Sims. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Jeff and Terry Nolen; a grandson, Bradley Nolen; and a brother, James Sims. She was self-employed.
She is survived by her husband, Norman J. Nolen of the home; two sons, Frank Nolen and Eric Nolen, both of Lincolnton; fifteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Kathleen Wagers Robinson
Kathleen Wagers Robinson, 84, of Maiden passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory.
Born April 9, 1930 in Clay Co., Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Robert Wagers and the late Bertha Hoskins Wagers. In addition to her parents, husband, Virgil Robinson; five sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory: two daughters, Rita Baker and husband, Bert of Portage, MI., Deborah Robinson of Newton; two sons, Michael D. Robinson of Maiden, Wayne Robinson of Lexington, Ky.; three grandchildren, Mandy Findley of Suffolk, Va., Derek Baker of Robbinsville, NJ, Robbie Robinson of Paducah, Ky.; two great grandchildren, Collin Findley and Ethan Findley.
The funeral service will be held today 11 a.m. at Living Word Church in Maiden with Rev. Brandon Travis officiating. The family received friends Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Maiden.

Billy Gene ‘Buck’ Schronce
Mr. Billy Gene “Buck” Schronce, age 83, of 171 Shell Street, Lincolnton died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at home.
His funeral will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Sronce and Jacob Sronce officating. Burial will follow in Exodus Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. this evening at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Schronce was born on January 31, 1931 in Lincoln County to the late Arthur Lee “Duke” and Eula Taylor Schronce. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Rev. David Lee Schronce; two brothers, Carroll Schronce, Sherman Sronce and one sister, Vertie Tallent. Mr. Schronce was retired from his own construction business. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Aline Mullinax Schronce of the home; four granddaughters, Sharon Rudisill Smith, Nicole Schronce, Lisa Clemmons, Tabitha Schronce; one daughter-in-law, Dianne Schronce; two sisters, Nancy Saunders and Phyllis Ballard; nine great-grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren.
