Basketball camp
East Lincoln will hold its annual basketball camps July 7-10 and July 14-17. Camp times for rising seventh-10th graders will be 8:30 a.m.-noon, and the second-sixth grade camp will be 1-4 p.m. There will also be a back-to-school camp Aug. 4-7 for rising second-eighth graders. Cost is $65 preregistered, or $75 the day of the camp. Both weeks are $120, and all three camps cost $175. Applications can be picked up at the school’s front office or by emailing coach Chip Ashley at cashley@lincoln.k12.nc.us. There is a $10 discount for families with more than one child.

Volleyball camp
West Lincoln will host a youth volleyball camp for rising fourth-12th graders from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. July 7-10 at the school. Cost is $45 and the registration form is available on the school’s website.

Summer programs
The City of Lincolnton Parks and Recreation is currently taking registration for the following summer programs: wrestling, basketball, football, volleyball, soccer, baseball and swim team camps, tennis clinics and swimming lessons. Registration is being accepted 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday at the Lentz Recreation Center. For more information contact the recreation office at 704-735-2671.
