VARIOUS PRODUCTION POSITIONS

LINE OPERATOR

Loads/unloads conveyor. Picks up materials or products from pallet, hand truck, or dolly, and places onto conveyor, or transfers materials or products from one conveyor to another, and aligns materials or products on conveyor to prevent jams. Inspects materials or products. Stencils, tags, stamps, or writes identifying information on packaged products. Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to perform basic math. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Requires HS diploma/GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

MACHINE OPERATORS, PACKER, ASSEMBLERS

Employer will be in the Lincolnton employment office on July 1 and 8; from 9am-1pm. Positions available include machine operators, picker/packer, assembly, forklift, and creelers, winders, and doffers. All require a minimum of 6 months experience.

PRODUCTION TEAM LEADER

Leads team members to perform various processing functions including coating, loading and inspection within the catalyst manufacturing process. Directly responsible for 1-10 employees. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Associate’s degree or equivalent; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be trainable to acquire the computer skills necessary to operate production equipment and utilize PC-based software.

Perform failure analysis on products/components/ materials. Work from schematics. Support and drive continuous improvement by participating in lean activities and the ACE management system. Requires strong communications skills and the ability to support/lead within a team environment. Requires basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office.

METER READER

Accurately read and record water meters for billing purposes with hand held meter reading devices. Check meters and report inoperable, damaged or missing meter boxes. Replace inoperable meters. Perform bench tests of meters at customer’s requests. HS diploma/GED and valid driver’s license required. Experience in the water works field preferred but not required. Basic math skills used to compute past/present meter readings to determine customer usage. Interpersonal skills are a must.

SALES AND SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Automotive Warranty Administrator/Customer Service that must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills. Customer focused with strong verbal and written communication skills. Requires excellent computer and typing skills. Prefer automotive experience. Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus. GM certificates, ASE certified preferred.
