Deputies are searching for an individual they said fired shots with a pellet gun into a western Lincoln County residence this month.
The incident took place just before 9 p.m. Friday on the 2000 block of West N.C. 150, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said.
A resident told deputies the shots came from someone possibly operating a white Toyota Camry, according to agency report.
While responding to the property, officers located four holes in the home’s vinyl siding, the Sheriff’s Office said. There were no injuries in the incident.
An arrest has yet to be made.
The Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the case.
