Wright named to 2014 NCCCA All State Cheerleading Team

Marti Wright has made the 2014 NCCCA All State Cheerleading Team. She will be cheering at the East-West All Star basketball and football games in Greensboro in July. She is a rising senior at North Lincoln High School where she has been a cheerleader for the last three years and has recently made the varsity squad again for the upcoming 2014-15 season. She was first nominated for this opportunity by her high school cheer coach and was picked to be in the first cut of 70 out of the first 100 cheerleaders in April. These 70 All Region cheerleaders then traveled to Southern Alamance High School in Graham in May where she made the cut for the final 30 All State team. This is an awesome honor as she was the only cheerleader chosen from Lincoln County. Marti also cheers for the Cheer Xplosion All Stars from Denver and has been cheering since she was four years old. Her parents are David and Julie Wright.
