A Lincolnton eatery will be closed through Tuesday following a small-scale fire at the business Sunday morning.

According to Bryan Greene, owner of Lincoln Cafe and a former Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputy, a fire started near one of the facility’s burners, damaging a wall.

The restaurant, located on Reepsville Road, less than two miles from downtown Lincolnton, will be closed today and Tuesday while repair work takes place, Greene said.

Additional information on the fire was not available at time of publication.

Lincoln Cafe is set to re-open to the public Wednesday morning.
