LINCOLN TIMES-NEWS

East Lincoln senior Charlie Hills has signed to play for Randolph-Macon College, a Division III school in Ashland, Va., the school announced Friday in a press release.
Hills was the Mustangs’ third leading scorer this season at 10.4 points per game, and averaged 7.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 blocked shots. Hills helped the Mustangs go 24-4 last season, win the Southern District 7 Athletic 2A Conference tournament and reach the second round of the state 2A playoffs, where they were put out by eventual state runner-up North Rowan.
Said longtime East Lincoln coach Neil Hodges of Hills’ signing: “Charlie will be a fine addition to the Yellow Jackets program, and his best basketball is ahead of him.”
