An southeastern Lincoln County teen was jailed for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old boy after turning himself in to authorities this week, deputies said.

Tyler Jordan Hall, 19, of 7680 Sifford Road in Stanley, went to the Magistrate’s Office on Tuesday, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said, and was charged with three felonies, one count each for crimes against nature, indecent liberties with a child and first-degree sexual offense.

The alleged incident took place in November at Hall’s residence, according to deputies, who began looking into the case last month after the Department of Social Services notified county detectives.

Hall was given a $90,000 secured bond and placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center, where he remains.

His first appearance is set for Wednesday.
