WL softball wins fourth straight

West Lincoln’s softball team won its fourth straight game on Thursday when it defeated host Cherryville 10-5 in eight innings. No other details were reported.
The Rebels (5-1) travel to Bunker Hill today.

LINCOLN CHARTER 7, SOUTH POINT 2: At South Point, the Eagles picked up a non-conference win on Tuesday.
Kyra Johnson went 3-for-4, Hannah Taylor went 2-for-2 with a double and scored three runs, Emily Keener went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, Lily Pressley went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI, Kayla Helms had a hit and two RBIs, Morgan McGee had two hits and Lindsay Hoyt had a hit and an RBI.
The Eagles (2-2) open Southern Piedmont 1A Conference play today at Cherryville.
NORTH LINCOLN-LINCOLN CHARTER POSTPONED: Wednesday’s non-conference game between North Lincoln and host Lincoln Charter was postponed. No make-up date has been announced.

The Eagles (2-1, 1-0) host East Lincoln on Monday.
