Criminal Charges

 

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

 

  • Vernon Hubert Boyles, 81 of 5443 W. N.C. 27 in Vale was charged March 7 with one count of failure to comply. A $365 cash bond was set.
  • Barry George Fredell, 26, of 4132 Biggerstaff Rd. in Maiden was charged March 7 with two counts of probation violation. A $25,000 bond was set.
  • Dana Jacob Hartness, 36, of 253 N. N.C. 16, 11, in Denver was charged March 7 with one count each of possessing stolen goods and larceny of horses, dogs, mules, swine and cattle. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
  • Derek Torsey Vause Jr., 25, of 307 Hubbard St. in Lincolnton was charged March 7 with one count of failure to comply. A $290 cash bond was set.
  • Brent Mitchell Williams, 35, of 764 Sloan St. in Denver was charged March 7 with one count of DWI. A $1,000 bond was set.
  • Luke Thomas Honbarger, 17, of 8111 Mallard Rd. in Denver was charged March 8 with one count each of possession of a schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
  • Salomon Encarnacion Santiago, 24, fo 10600 Huntersville Common  Dr. in Huntersville was charged March 8 with two counts of failure to appear. A $2,000 secured bond was set.
  • Benjamin Eugene Jenkins, 27, of 2478 Bess Chapel Ch. Rd. in Cherryville was charged March 8 with one count of larceny, communicating threats, failure to appear, assault inflicting serious injury or assault with a deadly weapon and assault on a female by a male over 18 yrs. of age. A $500 bond was set.
  • Robert Craven Nixon, 18, of 4780 Dick Wilson Rd. in Denver was charged March 8 with one count of failure to appear. No bond was set.
  • Christopher Antonio Bynum, 29, of 4564 N.C. 73 in Iron Station was charged March 8 with seven counts of failure to appear. A $120,000 secured bond was set.
  • Alvin Richard Huss, 55, of 2430 Arcadia Heights Rd. in Lincolnton was charged March 8 with two counts of misuse of 911 emergency telephone system and one count each of carrying concealed weapons, assault on a government official, DWI, resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer, driving left of center, open container-prohibited for driver and traffic-other. No bond was set.
  • Jack Labrittian Smith, 36, of 128 Brookhollow Dr. in Mt. Holly was charged March 9 with one count of domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set.
  • Brian Wayne Rhyne Jr., 43, of 1751 Maple Ln. in Lincolnton was charged March 9 with one count each of assault on a government official, possession of a schedule III controlled substance and resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer. A $2,400 secured bond was set.
  • Jessie Eugene Bivens, 35, of 1235 Rosehill Dr. in Lincolnton was charged March 9 with one count of second-degree trespassing. No bond was set.
  • Justin Lee Gilleland, 26, of 131 B. Glen Gar Dr. in Lincolnton was charged March 9 with one count of failure to appear. No bond was set.
  • Bill Lamar Cherry, 18, of 218 Lynch St. in Lincolnton was charged March 9 with one count of misdemeanor larceny. A $4,000 secured bond was set.
  • Stephanie Dawn Clinton, 28, of 4005 Benny Schrum Ln. in Maiden was charged March 9 with four counts of failure to appear. A $1,035 secured bond was set.
  • James Robert Morrison, 22, of 1264 Lynwell Rd. in Lincolnton was charged March 10 with one count each of possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of a drug paraphernalia. A $3,000 secured bond was set.
  • Adalberto Gonzalez Rodriguez, 46, of 4354 Billies Way in Denver was charged March 10 with one count of failure to comply. An unkown cash bond was set.
  • Samuel Eugene Prigden, 28,of 2353 Keener Rd. in Lincolnton was charged March 10 with two counts of indecent exposure. A $4,000 secured bond was set.
  • Jon Willet, 33, of 720 Lincoln St. in Lincolnton was charged March 10 with one count each of operating a vehicle on a highway without registration or an expired registration, having an expired inspection certificate and possession of a schedule I controlled substance. A $20,000 bond was set.
  • Michael Edward Gwaltney Jr., 37, of 3608 Old Monroe Rd. in Matthews was charged March 10 with three counts of failure to appear and one count of careless and reckless driving. A $2,000 secured bond was set.
  • Rufus Durand Lynch Sr., 53, of 410 W. Sycamore St. in Lincolnton was charged March 10 with one count each of larceny and second-degree trespassing. A $30,000 bond was set.
  • Andrea Hicks Kidd, 33, of 1906 Stanley Lucia Rd. in Mt. Holly was charged March 10 with one count of shoplifting. A $1,500 secured bond was set.
  • Bradley James Byrd, 43, of 752 S. College Ave. in Newton was charged March 11 with one count of DWI. An $800 unsecured bond was set.
  • Charles Eugene Carpenter Jr., 40, of 2574 Colewood Ln. in Iron Station was charged March 11 with one count of failure to appear. A $500 secured bond was set.
  • Katelyn Lilian Houser, 23, of 1367 Hickory Nut Ln. in Lincolnton was charged March 11 with one count each of injury to real property and misdemeanor breaking and entering a building. A $500 secured bond was set.
  • Terry Allen Tucker, 46, of 1021 Gaston St. in Lincolnton was charged March 11 with one count each of driving while license revoked or suspended. No bond was set.
  • Walter Israel Mercado, 23, of 934 Kanewood Trl. in Lincolnton was charged March 11 with one count of failure to appear. A $500 secured bond was set.
  • Jessica Nicole McCully, 24, of 5686 Old Plank Rd. in Iron Station was charged March 11 with one count of failure to comply. A $305 cash bond was set.
  • Anthony Thomas Ruffino, 35, of 408 Guy Heafner Rd. in Lincolnton was charged March 11 with one count of parole violation. No bond was set.
  • Dustin Kyle Skaggs, 19, of 5307 Bridgeview Dr. in Iron Station was charged March 11 with one count of second-degree trespassing. A $19,000 secured bond was set.
  • Damien James White, 22, of 998 High Country Ln. in Iron Station was charged March 11 with one count of resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
