Play tickets
Tickets are now on sale for the Lincoln Theatre Guild’s upcoming performance of “Seussical” at the Cultural Center. Performances will be March 28-30 and April 4-5. Showtimes will be 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays. The Cultural Center box office will be open 3-5 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays to purchase tickets, which may also be purchased at the door or online at lincolntheatreguild.com. Tree seedling sale

Fish fry

Wild Game/Fish Supper
New Vision Ministries, 661 Clark Creek Rd. in Lincolnton, will host its annual Wild Game and Fish Supper at 6 p.m. There will also be an auction, various door prizes and a raffle for a Mossberg .22 Plinkster. Egg hatching project
Register today to attend the Cooperative Extension’s annual 4-H Hatching Classroom Project 3:30-5 p.m. March 12 at the Citizens Center in Lincolnton. Participants will discover science as they learn the life cycle from egg to bird. The curriculum is designed for youth 2nd-7th grade. Cost is $35. Marvin UMC, Startown Rd. in Lincolnton, will host a breakfast buffet 7-10 a.m. A $6 donation is suggested to assist the parsonage fund.

Indoor yard sale

Spring marketplace
Crouse UMC, 3311 Crouse Sch. Rd. in Crouse, will host a Spring Marketplace event 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. A portion of proceeds from food and vendor sales will benefit church mission work. Food giveaway
Middle Cross Baptist Church, 3474 Crouse Sch. Rd. in Crouse, will host a Hope for Life Food Giveaway starting 8 a.m. in the church parking lot. The event will be sponsored in cooperation with Christian Ministry of Lincolnton, Second Harvest Food Bank in Charlotte and various other area churches. Families may receive a food box if they already qualify for food stamps or Christian Ministry assistance.

Kids’ Consignment Sale
Highland Drive Church, 2810 Highland Dr. in Lincolnton, will host the second and final day of its Kids’ Consignment Sale 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with all items discounted 50 percent.

Tea and fashion show
East Lincoln Christian Ministry will host a Mother-Daughter-Friend Tea and Fashion Show 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 537 N. N.C. 16 in Denver. The show will feature formal/event dresses and accessories, which may be purchased after the show. Race registration
Registration is due for the 2nd Annual Trooper FootChase 5K & Fun Run, set for March 29 at The Conover City Park in Conover. Robotics event

Chili dinner

Church concert

Slave Narratives event
The Cultural Center in Lincolnton will host a dramatic depictions of actual slave narratives from the Library of Congress, selected and published by Lincolnton author Steve Payseur. Local Director and Playwright Earline Smith will direct the free event, which will be 7 p.m. in the Timken Performance Hall. Genealogical Society
The Broad River Genealogical Society will host its monthly presentation 3 p.m. at the Putnam Memorial Baptist Church, 1146 Country Home Rd. in Shelby.
