Living Healthy Program
The Lincoln County unit of the N.C. Cooperative Extension will host a Living Healthy Program March 12 through April 16. The Widowed Group of the Greater Gaston Area will meet 5:30 p.m. at Jackson’s Cafeteria in Gastonia for a “Dutch Treat.” The Greater Gaston Chordweavers Chorus and members of the Barbershop Harmony Society will provide entertainment.
Building and Site Committee
The Lincoln County Board of Education will hold a special called Building and Site Committee meeting 4:30 p.m. at the Board of Education Administrative Offices, 353 N. Generals Blvd. in Lincolnton, to discuss and prepare interview questions for the Design-Build firms for the new Asbury School and East Lincoln High School Field House renovation. A Finance and Budget meeting will follow at 7:30 p.m.

The Lincolnton Lion’s Club will meet 7 p.m. in the Elm Classroom at CMC-Lincoln’s Medical Plaza, 441 McAlister Rd. in Lincolnton. Members and guests planning to eat in the cafeteria are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to the meeting. Board of Elections Director Brad Putnam will be the guest speaker. The club is also selling brooms and mops.
Senior Pottery Showcase
The Lincoln County Senior Center will host a Senior Pottery Showcase reception 10 a.m. at the Cultural Center in Lincolnton. Pottery from the 2013-14 pottery workshops at Fat Cat Pottery and Rising Sun Pottery will be on display.
Senior line dancing
