Gaston College is seeking nominations for its 2014 Altrusa Award for Excellence.
Established by Altrusa International of Gastonia through the Gaston College Foundation, the award seeks to reward a fulltime Gaston College faculty or staff member. Award recipients are recognized with a cash prize. The college said candidates must personify the college’s mission, vision, values and the ideal of lifelong learning through their life, both on and off the campus.
“We are pleased that the Altrusa Club of Gastonia has chosen to invest in Gaston College and its employees,” Gaston College president Dr. Patricia Skinner said. “We are grateful to the club for its continued support and are appreciative of their many contributions to the community.”
