West Lincoln will hold a required sportsmanship meeting for all spring sports athletes and their parents in the cafeteria at 6 p.m. on Feb. 24.
There will be an information meeting concerning offseason workouts for Lincolnton’s wrestling program at 6 p.m. on Sunday at the school. For more details, contact coach Brent Gates at email@example.com.
The City of Lincolnton Parks and Recreation is currently accepting soccer registration for the 2014 youth spring season for boys and girls ages 4-18 (18-year-olds must be in high school). Cost is $30 for city residents and $45 for non-residents. Registration will be held at the William Lentz Recreation Center at Betty G. Ross Park 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday through Monday. Interested players can also register on Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
The recreation department is also seeking persons interested in being volunteer coaches. Persons interested may contact the department to receive a volunteer coach’s application and to learn more about the position.
