James Stanley Bunch
James Stanley Bunch, 91, died on February 1, 2014 at his home 131 Labans Lane, Lincolnton. Mr. Bunch was born on September 11, 1922 in Munhall, Pa. to his parents, Robert Henry and Bessie Dainty Bunch. He worked for Bechtel Corp. as a construction manager for 29 years before retiring in 1984. He was a 32 degree Mason and Shriner.
Mr. Bunch was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Hillary Bunch; and son, Stephen Douglas Bunch.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara Irvine Bunch of the home; daughters, Barbara Austell (Dan) Lincolnton and Beth Jackson (Marty) Glendale, Ariz.; sons, JR Bunch, Creekside, Pa., Bradley Bunch (Helen) Viet Nam, and John Bunch (Karen), Mint Hill; grandchildren, Dan Austell III (Lynn) Washington, DC, Jennifer Austell, Charlotte, William Bunch, Rebecca Bunch, Steven Bunch, and Haley Bunch, Charlotte; and great grandchildren, Alexis Fonville, Sara Austell, Anthony Austell, and Troy Bunch.
Heartfelt gratitude is given to Kathy Harris, RN, Kelli Honeycutt, NP, and Pam McConnell, MSW of Hospice of Lincoln County for their unending love and care of our father and our family.
There will be no funera1 service. The family will receive visitors at the home of daughter, Barbara Austell, 131 Labans Lane, Lincolnton on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Lincoln County or to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Thad Rowland ‘TR’ Davis
Thad Rowland “TR” Davis, age 57, of Lincolnton passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at his home. He was born October 27, 1956 in Denver, Colo. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lawrence Rowland Davis and Edith Jeanne Rochford Rhodes. He is survived by his stepfather, Dan Rhodes, of San Luis Obispo, Calif.
Mr. Davis is also survived by his loving wife, Pam Smith Davis; his three sons, Cody Daniel Davis (Catherine) of Mooresville, SSgt. Colter Lawrence Davis USMC (Erika) of Miramar, Calif., and Connor Jamison Davis of the home; sister and brothers, Janet (Fred), Danny, Curt, and David; two granddaughters, Alexia Rose Davis and Aundrea Jeanne Davis of Miramar, Calif.; and dear family friend, Krystal Brookins of Lincolnton. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. at E.F. Drum Funeral Home, 210 N. Academy Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 4 p.m. in the Drum Chapel

Barbara ‘Bonnie’ Lynne Nothstein Driscoll
Barbara “Bonnie” Lynne Nothstein Driscoll, age 62, of 1013 Whistle Way in Lincolnton, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014.
Services will be held at a later date.
Bonnie was born July 2, 1951 in Buncombe County to the late Louis Isreal and Elizabeth Gertrude Prizer Nothstein. She worked as a certified nursing assistant.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Driscoll of the home; two stepdaughters, Lisa Bone of Sacramento, CA and Linda Potts of Buffalo, NY; a stepson, Michael Driscoll of Lexington, SC; and four grandchildren.

Ethel Mae Beam, 94, of Cherryville died February 3, 2014.
Funeral services will be held February 6, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m.
