The City of Lincolnton Parks and Recreation is currently accepting soccer registration for the 2014 youth spring season for boys and girls ages 4-18 (18-year-olds must be in high school). Cost is $30 for city residents and $45 for non-residents. Registration will be held at the William Lentz Recreation Center at Betty G. Ross Park 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday through Feb. 17. Interested players can also register on Feb. 15 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
The recreation department is also seeking persons interested in being volunteer coaches. Persons interested may contact the department to receive a volunteer coach’s application and to learn more about the position.
