Gordon Randolph ‘Randy’ Yarber III
DENVER — Mr. Gordon Randolph “Randy” Yarber III, age 70, of Denver died on Sunday, January 26, 2014.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Grace Covenant Church, 17301 Statesville Road, Cornelius, NC 28031. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Yarber was born August 26, 1943 in Ft. Lewis, Washington to the late Hilda Snyder Yarber and Gordon Randolph Yarber Jr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Eason Randolph Clarke. He is the retired president and owner of Yarber, Inc. Manufacturer’s Representatives, Industrial Packaging. Mr. Yarber was a long time member of Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius. He was a founding member of the Denver/Lake Norman Rotary Club.
Randy loved his family, his church and his community. He always had a quick smile and a big hug to share with everyone he met. We remember him for his generosity and love for others. He served his church in many ways, as an elder, council member and with several outreach and mission efforts, including Father’s Heart Adoption Ministries and Sonshine Center foster home in Linefork, Ky.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Sandra Collins Yarber; two sons, Andy Yarber and wife Ann of Denver, John Yarber and wife Allison of Mt. Holly; one daughter, Debbi Clarke and husband Walt of Raleigh; one brother, Ed Yarber and wife Danielle of Roanoke, Va.; two sisters, Libby Ward and husband Don of Hendersonville, Sally Kelly and husband Butch of Stokesdale; one brother-in-law, Les Collins and wife Billie; four grandchildren, Seth and Abigale Yarber, Emma Katherine and Redding Clarke; numerous nieces, nephews, and many loving friends and neighbors.

Constance ‘Connie’ Hilton Zamora
Constance “Connie” Hilton Zamora, age 53, of Leeds, Mass., formerly of Lincolnton, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2014.
The family will receive friends at St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. The memorial service will follow at 7:30 p.m. She will be laid to rest with her son at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colo.
Ms. Zamora was born on March 27, 1960 in Charlotte. She graduated from West Lincoln High School in 1978. Connie was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Connie is survived by her mother and stepfather Dolores and Vincent Wilmer; father and stepmother J.A. and Alice Hilton of Matthews; stepfather, Scott Hensley; two sons, Jacob and April Zamora of Denver, Colo., and Bryan Zamora and Jacquelyn Alonzo of San Antonio, Tex.; sisters, Kathy Knight and Holly Hilton; grandsons, Xavier, Vincente, Nichoas, Benjamin and Bryan Jr; nieces Elizabeth Carpenter, Sarah Ross and Denique Maynard; five great nephews and one great niece; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a son, Adam Zamora; grandparents, Michael and Sarah Capristo and John and Mary Hilton.

Patricia Mae Morse Stallings
Patricia Mae Morse Stallings, age 69, of 727 Loblolly Trail in Lincolnton, died on Friday, January 24, 2014.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, in theWarlick Funeral HomeChapel with Rev. Robert Wiggins officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ms. Stallings was born April 8, 1944 in Montgomery County to the late Marvin and Kathleen Carner Morse. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Butch Oxendine and her companion, Herman Gladden. She worked as a waitress.
She is survived by a son, Scott Drinkwater of Lincolnton; daughter, Misty White of Troutman; two brothers, Harold Morse of Mt. Gilead, and Wayne Morse of Lincolnton; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Clifford Eugene Bell, 88, of Newton died January 25, 2014.
The funeral service will be held January 28, 2014 at noon at Burke Mortuary Chapel, Maiden. Burial will follow at St. James Lutheran Church cemetery. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, from 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

Larkin Keith Flowers, 68, of Conover died January 24, 2014.
The funeral service will be January 28, 2014 at 3 p.m. at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Hickory. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military graveside rites. The family will receive friends on January 27, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Burke Mortuary in Newton.
