MLK youth event
A youth event will be 11 a.m. in the Timken Performance Hall at the Lincoln Cultural Center in Lincolnton. Lunch will be provided.
A parade/march in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., will be 1:30 p.m. in downtown Lincolnton. North Lincoln High School Marching Band, under the direction of Neil Underwood, will head the parade, which will start in the parking lot of Fifth Third Bank on E. Main St. and travel west towards the Lincoln County courhouse. Individuals will gather on the courthouse steps to hear comments from local community members.
