A 21-year-old man is accused of breaking into three different locations last month in Iron Station, deputies said.
Jordan Ray Vanzandt, of 5693 Nora Drive in Iron Station, broke into a storage garage and unoccupied residence on Dec. 24, taking metal parts, copper tubing, a box of copper pieces and a boat motor, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The victimized properties were located in the 1900 and 2000 blocks of Scenic Drive.
The suspect additionally took vehicle parts three days earlier from a Nora Drive property, deputies said.
Specific items stolen included a Chevrolet motor and Ford transmission, among other parts.
Detective Thomas Laverde served the warrants on Vanzandt, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The suspect was jailed Thursday and remains behind bars under a $90,000 secured bond.
Charges against him include one felony count of second-degree burglary, breaking and entering a building and larceny.
Vanzandt also faces charges from an unrelated incident earlier this month, in which deputies said they stopped a vehicle he had been traveling in, locating between 4 and 14 ounces of heroin.
