TODAY
Valentine’s Dance registration
Registration begins at 9 a.m. for seniors interested in attending the Lincoln County Senior Center’s Valentine’s Dance 6:30-9:30 p.m. Feb. 14. Cost is $5 and due Feb. 10. To reserve a spot, call (704) 732-9053.

Fish n’ chips
Carillon Assisted Living, 440 Salem Ch. Rd. in Lincolnton, will host a free fish, chips and slaw meal 4-6 p.m. To RSVP to the event, call (704) 732-0029.

SATURDAY
Medicine Drop
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office will host its first unwanted medicine drop of the year 9-11 a.m. at 700 John Howell Memorial Dr. in Lincolnton. The following items may be dropped off: over-the-counter medications, vitamins and supplements, prescription medications, liquid medications in leak-proof containers and ointments/creams. Aerosol cans will not be accepted. Individuals may remain anonymous. For questions or additional information, call (704) 732-9050.

Overeaters Anonymous
Overeaters Anonymous will meet 10:30 a.m. to noon at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2639 E. N.C. 150 (white building in back) in Lincolnton. The group meets each Saturday. For more information, call Robbie at (704) 616-2630.

Church concert          
Grace Baptist Church, 495 Horseshoe Lake Rd. in Lincolnton, will host “The Griggs” in concert at 7 p.m. For more information, call (704) 735-1390.

SUNDAY
Church supper
Bess Chapel UMC, 6073 Flay Rd. in Cherryville, will host a soup and sandwich supper 4-7 p.m. Donations will be used for church missions.

Church luncheon
Crouse UMC, 3311 Crouse Sch. Rd. in Crouse, will host a luncheon 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. An $8 donation is suggested to support the church building, renovation and maintenance fund.

MONDAY
Computer classes
The Lincoln County Senior Center, 514 S. Academy St. in Lincolnton, will host basic computer classes 9-10 a.m. and advanced classes 10-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through March. To register or for more information, call (704) 732-9053.

TUESDAY
Lion’s Club
Lincolnton Lion’s Club will meet 7 p.m. in the Elm classroom at the Lincoln Medical Plaza, McAlister Rd., Lincolnton. Members and guests planning to eat in the CMC- Lincoln cafeteria should arrive 30 minutes early. Topics for discussion will include future service projects, fundraisers and details of the Zone 11 meeting.

Board of Health
The Lincoln County Board of Health will meet 7 p.m. in the main conference room of the Health Department, 151 Sigmon Rd., Lincolnton. For more information, call (704) 735-3001.

Iron Station Seniors
The Iron Station seniors group will meet 12 p.m. at Ironton Presbyterian Church.
