East Lincoln, which swept the season series with the Eagles, open Southern District 7 Athletic 2A Conference play tonight at Bandys. Lincoln Charter hosts Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy in Southern Piedmont 1A Conference play.
LINCOLN CHARTER 57, EAST LINCOLN 15: At East Lincoln, the Eagles stayed undefeated with a rout of East Lincoln.
Caitlyn Miller and Eboni Tinsley had 11 points each for Lincoln Charter (7-0), which outscored the Mustangs (1-4) 35-5 in the first half.
Hannah Moolenaar, Rachel Lane and Alyssa Fuller scored four points each or East Lincoln.
MATCH POSTPONED: Lincolnton’s three-team non-conference match with North Lincoln and Belmont South Point, originally scheduled for Thursday, has been moved to today and will be held at North Lincoln.
The three-team match has become a five-team round-robin event, Wolves coach Brent Gates said. It will begin at North Lincoln at 5 p.m.
