Maiden Christmas event
The Town of Maiden will host its “Merry Maiden Downtown Christmas Celebration” 5:30-8 p.m. at the Gazebo, located at the intersection of Main St. and Main Ave. In the event of rain, the celebration will be 4-7 p.m. Dec. 22.
Blue Christmas service
Trinity Lutheran Church, 2700 Trinity Ch. Rd. in Vale, will host its fourth annual Blue Christmas worship service, co-sponsored by Sardis, Cedar Grove and Emmanuel Lutheran Churches, at 7 p.m. The program is for individuals who are feeling lonely or sad this season due to the loss of a loved one or other hardship.
