Regional holiday pageant
The Miss Gastonia Scholarship Association will present the “Miss Merry Christmas Pageant” 6 p.m. at the Cherryville Community Building, 106 S. Jacob St. Pageant winners will participate in the Chamber of Commerce’s holiday activities following the event including the 7 p.m. tree lighting.
The N.C. Symphony will perform its Holiday Pops show 8 p.m. at the Citizens Center in Lincolnton with Conductor Alfred E. Sturgis. Cost is $24 for adults, $21 for seniors and $6 for students 18 and under or with a college ID.
