Gaston College trustees
Gaston College’s Board of Trustees will meet 4 p.m. in the Myers Center Board Room of the Dallas Campus.

Post-Polio Support Group

Diabetes support group
CMC-Lincoln’s “Keeping on Track With Diabetes” support group will meet 6 p.m. at the Sally’s YMCA in Denver. Jeff Kirsch, P.A., with East Lincoln Primary Care will speak.

LCS meeting
Lincoln Charter School will hold its monthly school board meeting 6:30 p.m. at the Lincolnton campus, 133 Eagle Nest Road, Lincolnton.

Commissioners meeting
The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will meet 6:30 p.m. at the Citizens Center in Lincolnton.

TUESDAY
Diabetes cook-off
CMC-Lincoln will host a Diabetes Cook-off event at 11 a.m. Diabetes-friendly dishes may be submitted by 12 p.m.

Crouse community project
The Crouse Community History and Photo Project group will meet 4 p.m. at Crouse UMC, 3311 Crouse School Rd. in Crouse. Robert C. Healthcare enrollment                                                                                                                        
Boger City UMC, 2320 E. Main St. in Lincolnton, in partnership with Piedmont Benefits Group, will host a health insurance enrollment day at 6 p.m. Individuals needing 2014 health coverage may enroll in a plan and receive Affordable Care Act information and federal subsidy advice. AARP meeting
Local AARP 3682 will meet 11 a.m. in the Senior Center’s multi-purpose room at the Gaston College- Lincoln campus, 511 S. Aspen St. in Lincolnton, for a covered dish lunch and program presented by Christie from Home Instead. New members are welcome. For more information, call (704) 276-2153.

Diabetes talk
CMC-Lincoln will host a program on insulin pumps and how they work 3 p.m. in the Dogwood Room with Beth Silvers, RD and CDE.

Widowed Group
Widowed Group of the Greater Gaston Area will host a Gospel music event with Roland King and Southland 7 p.m. at Gaston County Parks and Rec. Center, 1303 Dallas-Cherryville Hwy. in Dallas. A meet and greet will be 6-6:30 p.m. followed by a covered dish dinner at 6:30 p.m.

Singles Club
The New Beginnings Singles Club of Lake Norman, for singles ages 50 and up, will meet 6:30 p.m. at the Captain’s Galley Restaurant in Mooresville. Visitors are welcome. For more information, call (704) 528-3864.
