Deputies seized drugs and a marijuana plant Wednesday afternoon from an Iron Station residence, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
Robert Eugene Kinsler Jr., 28, of Trinity Lane, was taken into custody in the incident.
Officers first went to the suspect’s home around 1 p.m. following up on an anonymous tip that one of the residents had outstanding warrants, according to a report.
Deputies first knocked on the door multiple times, identifying themselves, but Kinsler attempted to flee the residence, leaving through the back door, the report said.
Deputies apprehended the man on the back porch.
During a search of the residence, officers said they located a blue glass pipe, a marijuana plant on a bedroom nightstand and a small bag of marijuana beside it.
Additional drug paraphernalia was seized, the report said.
Kinsler remains behind county bars under a $6,200 secured bond.
He faces one count each of manufacturing a schedule VI controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for a controlled substance, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 ounce, failure to appear and possession of drug paraphernalia.
His next court appearance is set for Nov. 6.
