The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is on the hunt for a man they said is connected to at least one of three eastern county break-ins this season.

The agency released surveillance footage of the suspect Tuesday afternoon.

The footage was recorded by a wildlife camera situated inside an outbuilding at a property on the 6200 block of Forney Hill Road in Denver, deputies said.

The home’s owner told deputies an individual not only took two gas cans from his trailer and damaged his outbuilding on Friday but also broke into a neighbor’s outbuilding.

It was the second time this fall, the man told officers, he has had gas cans stolen from his property.

He put the camera up after the initial incident, deputies said.

An additional outbuilding break-in took place on the 5500 block of Mundy Road, also in Denver, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Two compound bows and two chain saws were stolen in the incident.

Anyone with information about the break-in or the suspect in the photo can call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at (704) 732-9050 or Crime Stoppers at (704) 736-8909.

Any tips leading to an arrest may result in a reward of up to $1,000.

At this time, detectives said they have only connected the suspect to the incident on Forney Hill Road.
