The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will vote on a zoning request from a company that is seeking to build a Family Dollar in Denver at its meeting today.
C4 Development has requested a conditional-use permit to develop a 1.6-acre lot into an 8,320 square-foot Family Dollar on N.C. 16-Business, just west of Forest Hills Drive in Catawba Springs Township. The county Planning Board voted 7-0 to recommend approval at its Oct. 8 meeting.
Public hearings on various other zoning requests will also be conducted.
A final approval hearing is scheduled to discuss installing cul-de-sacs in the Villages of Denver. Three temporary cul-de-sacs are currently in place.
In addition to these requests, a motion will be held to approve Cunningham Recreation and Playworld Preferred as vendors to supply playground equipment for Rock Springs Park.
Other items on tonight’s Board of Commission meeting agenda include the Finance Officer’s report, County Manager’s report, County Commissioners’ report, Register of Deeds report and the Property Tax Collection report.
