Eagles shut out Southlake Christian

Daniel Moore scored two goals to lead Lincoln Charter to a 3-0 boys soccer victory over Southlake Christian at home on Friday.
Moore scored on an assist by Danny Aguilar in the 24th minute, and added a second goal in the 79th minute on an assist from Malakai Partridge.
Mattie Groff scored on a pass from Caylon Nagy in the 36th minute for a 2-0 Eagles lead.
Isaiah Smith had one save in the shutout. The Eagles outshot Southlake Christian 20-4.
Lincoln Charter (4-2) hosts Challenger on Thursday.

GASTONIA ASHBROOK 2, LINCOLNTON 0: At Lincolnton, the Wolves were shutout in a non-conference match on Thursday.
The match was scoreless at the break but the Green Wave scored twice in the second half.
Kevin Lopez, Christian Sandoval and Anthony Abonza scored a goal each in Lincolnton’s 3-2 over Patton last week.
The Wolves travel to Maiden today to open Southern District 7 Athletic 2A Conference play.
