County narcotics investigators handcuffed a Lincolnton man accused of selling marijuana in the parking lot of a city convenience store.

Deputies said they spotted Gary Francis Stroman, of 418 South Flint Street in Lincolnton, make a hand-to-hand transaction Thursday outside the Little Market Basket, located on East Main Street.

Officers took him into custody and charged him with one felony count each of possession with intent to manufacture a schedule VI controlled substance and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for a controlled substance along with a misdemeanor count for possession of marijuana, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said.

Stroman has since been released on a $10,000 secured bond.
