Iron Station native named plant manager of Ohio Timken facility
The Timken Company announced this week the appointment of Marty A. Hallman to plant manager of its New Philadelphia, Ohio, plant.
Hallman joined Timken in 1990 as a machine repairer in Lincolnton. He has served as supervisor of heat treating, line manager of packaged bearings and in other manufacturing roles, including his most recent as manager of tapered and packaged bearings in Lincolnton.
While working for Timken, Hallman earned an associate degree in mechanical engineering from Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Hallman is a native of Iron Station and will relocate to the New Philadelphia area with his family.
