Basketball camp
The second week of the East Lincoln Basketball Association’s co-ed basketball camp will be today (July 22) through July 25 for boys and girls grades 2-8. The camp will run 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily at the high school. Preregistration is $85. Day of camp cost is $95. Soccer camp

Commissioners meeting
Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and Lincoln County Planning Board will meet 6 p.m. at Lebanon UMC, 5033 Lebanon Rd. in Denver, to discuss future development and transportation needs at the interchange of N.C. 16 and N.C. 150. “Teacher Day”
King’s Office Supply, 227 E. Main St. in Lincolnton, will host their annual “Teacher Day” 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. today with a silent art auction benefiting Christian Ministry of Lincolnton’s soup kitchen. For more information (704) 735-7415.

Roseland Baptist Church, 1172 Rosehill Dr. in Lincolnton, will host their annual homecoming event with a worship service 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. with guest speaker Rev. Danny Shore and musical group “The Fishers Quartet.” A covered dish luncheon will follow the service. Sunday school will be cancelled for the day.

“Evening at Ingleside”
Ingleside Plantation, 214 S. Ingleside Farm Rd. in Iron Station, will host “Evening at Ingleside” fundraiser for Sally’s YMCA in Denver 6-9 p.m. with tours, food, music, dancing and more. City of Lincolnton Parks and Rec. and Girl Scouts of America is currently taking registration for a non-competitive boys and girls swim camp for ages 5-18.
