Detention officers located marijuana inside an inmate’s storage bin, according to a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office report.
Deputies grew suspicious during dinner time Friday at the county detention center when they detected a strange smell coming from Jodi Ann Marie Brock’s jail cell, the report said.
Officers said they later located the illegal substance inside a storage bin that belonged to the 23-year-old.
Brock was placed in a holding cell while deputies recovered the marijuana from a plastic bag.
It remains unclear as to how the woman smuggled the drug into the facility, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Brock has since been charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance on the premises of a penal institution.
She was initially jailed a day earlier for first-degree trespassing, the jail site showed.
Her bond has since increased from $2,500 to $7,500.
