Dellinger receives scholarship

Contributed The First United Methodist Church of Maiden recently awarded its 2013 “Flossie Cloninger Scholarship” to Katie Dellinger of Maiden, a rising senior at Lenoir-Rhyne University. The award is named after the late Flossie Cloninger, a very active member of the church. It is endowed by the Cloninger family and given annually to a current or past Maiden High School graduate. Pictured is Mr. Frank Cloninger, son of Mrs. Cloninger, Katie Dellinger, Butch Parker and Pastor Tony Jordan.
