Deputies said two Lincoln County sisters have been missing from their home since Tuesday.

Mahagony Smith, 17, and sister Aniya Symone Mickey-Weeks, 14, ran away from their McCorkle Road residence, the Sheriff’s Office said.

A godmother last saw the teens after deputies said she took them to a Charlotte home located in the Slater Ridge subdivision, off Beatties Ford Road.

The godmother told deputies she did not know the sisters had fled from their home.

Mickey-Weeks is described as a 5-foot-6 black female, weighing about 120 pounds.

Smith is a 5-foot-7 black female, weighing roughly 125 pounds.

The juveniles have officially been entered as runaways into the National Crime Information Center.

Individuals with information on the sisters’ whereabouts is asked to call the Lincoln County Communications Center at (704) 735-8202 or the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at (704) 732-9050.
