Camp Loy White

The application deadline is today to  attend Kid’s Kingdom at Camp Loy White in Casar, N.C. Camp  dates are June 24-28 and July 2-26. Students from local UMC churches are invited to attend the annual camp. Cost is $170 for the week. Book drive

United Way of Lincoln County will be collecting new and gently-used books now through June 20 for distribution to community children on June 21. Local volunteers from area businesses will be handing out the books at the UW office for the event dubbed United Way Day of Caring.
